When asked about her and Kristen kissing in their upcoming filming about the girl band Runaways: “We’re playing Joan Jett and Cherie Curie and they’re best friends in the film and became really close in real life,” Dakota said. “And that’s something that went down back in the ‘70s.” She added that the kiss wasn’t hard to prepare for. “We were so into the scene and into the script and the characters,” she said.

via Wikiso apparently bertolucci thinks its okay to exploit his talent for whatever exploration of sexuality/politics/cinephilia but its not okay for him to brave his own nutsack? and you would’ve thought he would be the last person to consider nudity at all shameful. or that ‘shame’ was ever an item on bertolucci’s agenda. anyway, random film quip over. i just watched ‘The Dreamers’ and it wasn’t that bad. really. been holding off on ‘The Last Emperor’ forever, though, so i’ll get around to watching that sometime.
